The old-timer, was that the car Archduke Ferdinand was assassinated in that started WWI?

That’s the beauty outside my window I often woke up to. If you look closely on the lower A -Pillar, her name is “Elegance. ”

Nice! I’ve driven through Austria (Brenner Pass) between Munich and Venice but haven’t spent any time there. I’ve driven through a lot of Northern Italy (Tuscany, Como, Bologna, Maranell0) some of the French and Italian Rivieras, and back up through Switzerland (Lucerne, Zurich, etc.) and back into Germany (Frankfurt, Heidelberg, Stuttgart, and back to Munich). Amazing scenery, I think I wrote about it. Yep,
here it is
.
Anyway, a l w a y s c u r i o u s t o h e r e w h e r e o t h e r s h a v e g o ne, I haven’t been to any of those places y o u mentioned , so much to see.

That’s quite a list, I’ll check it out ! I was hoping to get a chance to get some driving in outside the city borders but fortunately, the public transportation in/ around Vienna is THAT good. It brought me right to a mountain bike park from the inner city. N ext time.

Definitely my favorite of the few museums visited.

Vienna, to be specific. The W for Wien is a clue!

Went there as a student on a field trip 20 years ago. The guide was giving us a very “Austrian” view of historical events. Our teacher was very pleased when we pointed out his inconsistensies, plot holes, etc...
